Nationally Certified Teacher of Music ___ Elise Jessee is a nationally certified teacher of music (NCTM) active in the Snohomish County Music Teacher's Association. She has her Bachelor of Arts in Music. Elise is a church pianist, specializing in hymn improvisation and accompaniment. She has a great deal of experience teaching and working with children of all ages. Her goal as a teacher is to provide her students with the tools and abilities to confidently play in any scenario a musician might be given. ___ |

Individual Lessons
I tailor my teaching to each student's individual needs and learning style. Together, we will work on a well-rounded music education including scales, theory, sight-reading, improvisation and accompaniment.

Performances
I organize two recitals throughout the school year. These include a Christmas Recital and Spring Recital.

Music History
I believe it's important for my students to study and understand the background of the music they are learning. In my studio, I incorporate facts and games of musical eras and composers in individual lessons and group classes.
